TOM BUCKLEY

I have been playing drums for nearly three decades and performing in the Cincinnati area for over 15 years. My continuous pursuit of technique and musicality provides a strong foundational skillset that I have applied across many genres including jazz, rock, hip-hop, funk, electronica, pop, and classical. Current creative projects include FLOCKS, the Buckley/Kline Duo, and The Cincy Brass as well as many other groups in and around Cincinnati. In addition to performing live, I also have recording experience and the ability to record remotely, both at home and in-studio.

I have extensive experience teaching drum students of all ages and abilities. At the core of my teaching philosophy is a commitment to nurturing the unique needs, goals, and learning styles of each student. I specialize in teaching drum set, snare drum, concert percussion, and marching percussion. I also offer lessons/consultations on improvisation and conceptual ideas around music for drummers and non-drummers.
